Cape Cod PF Support Group
Our Cape Cod Support Group meetings are designed to offer support in daily life with interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis, and to promote community ties. They are tailored to the unique needs of Cape Cod patients and caregivers.
We will be usually meeting on the last Thursday of each month, from 11:00am to 1:00pm (starting in May 2019), and on the 1st Thursday of each month, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm (starting in June 2019). Both meetings will be held at the CapeSpace in Hyannis, MA.
The last Thursday meetings will feature speakers on a broad range of current topics including diagnosis, clinical developments over the past year, FDA approved therapies, and current and future research. We will also help identify clinical resources, including information about pulmonary rehabilitation, smoking cessation, oxygen use, dietary and stress management, and palliative care.
The 1st Thursday meetings will allow participants to connect via video conferencing to the Boston PF Support Group meeting at MGH.
Parking is available free on site.
Additionally, we will organize quarterly Cape Cod friends and family weekend gatherings (starting in fall of 2019).
