Linda Atkinson is a graduate of Boston University. After college through happy accident she become involved in media, working for WEEI-AM radio and becoming vice president of Miller/Arnold Communications. She has been active over the last 45 years in the communities in which she has raised her family.  In Cambridge she was a school volunteer and political activist for several progressive local candidates. In Belmont her volunteer work ranged from board member and registrar of the Belmont Rangers Hockey to elected trustee of the Belmont Memorial Library. Her volunteer work with Mount Auburn Hospital included chairing Thursday Morings Talks, President of the Auxiliary and board member. In retirement, after being diagnosed with chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis, she is fulfilled to be involved with the ILD Collaborative.
