Dr. Nour Assad is a pulmonary and critical care physician at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. She directs the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) clinic. Dr. Assad’s practice focuses on all ILD including idiopathic, environmental and connective tissue disease associated ILD. She is also involved in the occupational lung disease program and treats uranium miners with pulmonary fibrosis. She co-directs the Miners’ Wellness TeleECHO clinic at the University of New Mexico.  Her research focuses on the effects of environmental exposures on ILD.
